With more than 50 security specialists working to protect sensitive systems from attack on approximately 40 federal contracts, the majority of the Wyle Information Systems security specialists are certified by The SANS Institute, and more than 20 are Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP). One of the leading Wyle IT security specialists holds five Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC) and was the Project Leader for the Center for Internet Security’s (CIS) Apache Benchmark Project for 3 years. Federal agencies are embracing the CIS benchmarks to address many of the cybersecurity requirements defined by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and other guidelines.

Many agencies have turned to Wyle Information Systems to help protect their mission-critical data.  At the Department of Energy (DOE), Wyle protected 250 servers with continuity of operations plans, disaster recovery procedures, and a “hot site” backup environment.
