Wyle Information Systems provides a wide array of support to Aviation Digital Data Service (ADDS) at the Aviation Weather Center (AWC). This support ranges from daily maintenance and operations, migration to new servers, equipment relocation, improvements in service, and support of system evolution. Support has also been provided to operational ADDS and aviationweather.gov web sites, developing new web applications on ADDS and aviationweather.gov including Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API) application and a WAFS global grids project. Also supported was the technical transfer of web interfaces onto AWC’s web sites that were originally developed elsewhere in the Aviation Weather Community, working in support of an AWC initiative to attain QICP certification for the ADDS and aviationweather.gov web sites. Tasks performed as part of this support included the evaluation of documents and the changes necessary for eQICP project and separating ADDS scripts for QICP project.
