The Wyle Acoustics Division was founded in 1963 when Wyle Laboratories decided to establish a research division to support the expanding NASA space program. From these beginnings, Wyle has had the opportunity to expand its capabilities and work on a wide range of applied research and development projects where the prediction of noise and vibration, and their effects and mitigation have been of primary concern. Wyle’s research clients have included federal government agencies such as NASA, FAA, National Park Service, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, along with the aerospace, transportation and motor vehicle industries.
