Secure Mining and Exploitation of Large Data Sets

ODE enables data analysts and consumers to rapidly explore and exploit large heterogeneous data sets. Users can securely:

  • Search
  • Organize
  • Correlate
  • Create Data Products
  • Collaborate with Their Data

Using Object Oriented Data Management (OODM) technology, web services, and XML metadata, ODE users can navigate quickly and interact with heterogeneous data over existing networks without modifying the format of the original data. The result is an order of magnitude improvement in data access time and productivity.

ODE Security is Robust & Layered
ODE includes role-based system and data access. Data and system interaction is extremely flexible and permissed to the lowest levels. A full data interaction audit engine is included to satisfy the most demanding commercial requirements including ITAR.

TDM & Message Data Capabilities
Since the introduction of digital data acquisition systems, high-speed parametric data processing has emerged as the acid test for real-time and post-processing systems. ODE’s data processing engines provide the raw processing power to process time division multiplexer (TDM) data at rates that eclipse real time by orders of magnitude.

The future trend for test articles is moving away from increasing TDM rates and toward significantly greater message data content. As test articles increasingly become highly integrated systems within systems, data analysis tools need to address both the huge increase in raw data quantity as well as message structure complexity. ODE provides core capabilities to manage discrete data and message content as easily as it handles the traditional TDM data formats.

ODE’s highly scalable, multiprocessor/core architecture rips through gigabyte IRIG Chapter 10 data files in multiples of real time and gives users unparalleled access to the flow and content of message data intensive test platforms.

Search Terabytes in Milliseconds Using web services and internet-based search technology, ODE provides users with an unprecedented speed of access to data. Whether data is located locally or across a WAN, network utilization is always optimized.

Unique StatPack™ visualization technology leverages XML metadata to render a graphically intuitive view of large binary data sets.

Queries ranging from simple Boolean expressions to complex C# algorithms can be applied against unlimited data sets simultaneously.

ODE provides a robust set of user-configured data organization filters allowing users to determine how their data is organized, aggregated, and presented.

The ODE Developer's Edition STK provides a complete net environment to embed ODE-CLIENT functionality within third-party applications such as Matlab®.

Correlate & Compare Data

ODE allows users to correlate multiple independent data sets against events, time, or one another. Applications are unlimited and include:

  • Simulation vs. actual data
  • Video vs. time history data
  • Multiple iterations of the same data
  • Multiple similar systems
  • In situ systems vs. remote systems

Create Data Products

Component-based architecture enables ODE users to output data of interest in an unlimited array of formats for further distribution and analysis. Formats include:

  • CSV
  • Matlab®
  • Excel®
  • Proprietary Formats

If a new output format is required, users can use the built-in ODE wizards to create their own data output components.

Data Type & Format Agnostic

ODE can be used for virtually any type of data regardless of format or origin since it is built on OODM. Typical data types include:

  • PCM and Other TDM
  • Data1553 and Other Bus Data
  • Voice
  • Video
  • TSPI
  • Documents
  • Imagery
  • Proprietary Data

If a new output format is required, users can use the built-in ODE wizards to create their own data output components.

Disseminate & Collaborate

ODE allows users to include the results of their investigations (including inherited metadata) within the ODE framework. This permits other users with appropriate permissions to leverage the work of others. Simply using ODE enables user communities to build “ad hocracies” and increases the value of their data over time.
