Introduction

IMUX recorder multiplex/demultiplex interface cards support a wide range of standard high-speed, digital recording and data distribution applications.  The RIO-301 card supports multiplexed, multi-channel digital data distribution with full data and control interfaces for a wide range of digital devices.  RIO interface modules support an easy-to-use, "start it and forget it" mode data capture operation with powerful tag management mode capabilities. This enables users to select data channels for routing to select devices and provides real-time data sorting to serial port and network interfaces.  High-speed parallel output buffers ensure consistent and continuous operation, maintaining data flow output under the most rigorous storage and communication conditions.

Only the IMUX line offers up to three recorder multiplex/demultiplex interfaces within a single data system. This gives the user the power to select and route channel data in real-time to multiple ports, storage devices, and network interfaces.
