Wyle has a long and rich history of significant contributions to the technologies associated with high-intensity acoustic testing systems. In the 1960s, Wyle developed the first high-power, linearly controllable electropneumatic noise source, the WAS-3000.

Over the last decade, these clients have included Hughes Electronics, General Electric, Boeing/McDonnell Douglas, TRW and Lockheed Martin.
