Wyle Life Sciences is aiding the Sustained Operations Program as it develops and applies countermeasures to warfighter fatigue that will both extend and enhance cognitive performance and endurance.
Using unique AFRL research facilities and testing procedures, Wyle is supporting Air Force 
Research Lab efforts to determine the effects of a potentially valuable pharmaceutical fatigue countermeasure, modafinil. The study is specifically directed at aircrew cognitive performance and vestibular mechanisms.
Modafinil holds promise as an effective countermeasure to warfighter fatigue during sustained operations without the common side effects associated with currently approved pharmaceuticals.
