We ensure the integrity of any system through the development and use of automated tools to maintain and track upgrades, record changes and document releases throughout the life cycle of the system.
Wyle’s systematic and proven processes for the detailed recording and updating of information for enterprise computer systems and networks, including all hardware and software components, reduces cost and system failure. Our methodology includes the systematic collection of software versions/updates and revision of supporting documentation so that decision makers can make an informed decision about future system requirements. This data can be used to assure that upgrades or changes within a system do not adversely affect any associated systems.
CM Tools -- Wyle offers Virtual Status Accounting Tracking System (VSATS), an automated and integrated configuration management tool. VSATS is a user-friendly web-based application that provides complete configuration management and status accounting capabilities for any system, platform, software or event. VSATS is a web-based data repository and configuration management tool, specifically designed to track systems down to the smallest component. VSATS allows divergent users to view, analyze and report any and all data on any system or subsystem stored within the configuration management module.
Commercial Tools -- Wyle staff is also experienced with other commercial CM tools such as the Rational tool set including ClearCase, ClearQuest, and RequisitePro. This experience allows our staff to utilize an organization’s current tools for client responsiveness and flexibility.
Past Performance -- Wyle has led efforts and participated in all phases of programs from the earliest analysis to final documentation required during the life cycle of a system. This includes Configuration Management, Documentation Management, Quality Assurance, Training, and Technical Management Support. This experience includes direct management, development, acquisition, and fielding support of complex Joint Service, Tri-Service, and Naval electronic, computer, and communications systems. We have employees skilled in developing configuration management processes and the use of off the shelf tools for system configuration integrity.
