Independent Validation and Verification

Wyle Information Systems provided full lifecycle support for all of the Job Corp Data Center (JCDC) software applications including quality control. This included design reviews, quality assurance (QA) audits, and independent validation and verification (IV&V) on software and engineering work. Wyle staff followed structured procedures at JCDC to implement changes to production systems that included quality control and testing processes. An independent QA/IV&V group performed system testing and worked directly with the customer for feedback and to verify quality. This group was totally independent of the support groups and worked directly with the customer to verify the quality of the support being provided.

Experienced Wyle professionals validate custom, remotely developed, and 3rd party software using IV&V methodologies to advance software lifecycle processes at Glenn Research Center (GRC).  Performing IV&V in one of several locally maintained test environments, where staff design, execute, and report test cases and plans. Wyle has a strict formal acceptance criteria based on the system criticality. Personnel move accepted software releases into production following system or modification acceptance.
