Wyle Information Systems installed, maintained and managed Department of Labor (DOL) Job Corps Data Centers (JCDC) in Limestone, ME and Austin, TX. The Maine facility served as a disaster and contingency backup data center for the Texas JCDC and its enterprise applications. Wyle developed specifications, purchased, installed and configured a database server at the Maine backup facility, also organizing and implementing the move of the JCDC, including the IBM RS/6000 database servers (11 full racks of equipment), from San Marcos to Austin, Tex., fully meeting the schedule for completing the move.
