NET OPS Center 

Wyle Information Systems staffed and operated a telecommunications Network Operations Center (NOC) for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that supported 45 FAA and US Air Force locations including each of the FAA Regional Office locations and the majority of Air Route Traffic Control Centers.  At the time, Wyle supported two telecommunications data centers in Texas and Maine for the Job Corps that provides voice, video, and data services to more than 60,000 staff and students at 128 Job Corps centers nationwide.

Providing IT services and enterprise network operations support for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) NOC at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wyle’s services include technical and staffing support for enterprise event management, network assistance, network control and management, network defense operations, network core services management, help desk, and associated NOC management functions. The work includes incidental supplies, hardware, software, and maintenance and management of warranty services to sustain, monitor, administer, refresh and improve AFMC NOC support for AFMC enterprise network operations. Wyle staff support hardware and software operations, security, and maintenance for a network that includes more than 120 servers at 17 USAF Main Operating Bases (MOB) and Geographically Separated Units (GSU), both CONUS and OCONUS (both inside and outside the continental United States).
