Research and Development

While many companies can claim experience in some aspects of test and evaluation (T&E), Wyle provides an unusual breadth of T&E experience for a nonaircraft manufacturer. Wyle's engineering test support experience covers the spectrum of T&E activities, from the initial analyses required to identify test issues, requirements and test plan preparation, detailed test planning and actual hands on lab and flight testing; and analysis of test results, preparation of test reports, and proposed resolution of test deficiencies. Wyle also provides flight test instructors to the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School.

Wyle has specific T&E experience with a majority of the aircraft in the DoD inventory including: E-2C, C-2, P-3, S-3, F/A-18, F-14, EA-6B, F-16, V-22, C-130, E-6, F-15, C-17, AH-1, H-3, H-53, H-60, AH-64; as well as foreign military sales. In addition, Wyle has participated in the electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic interference, electromagnetic vulnerability (EMC/EMI/EMV) testing of Navy, Army, and Coast Guard aircraft.
